8M Institutional Event on the occasion of the International Women’s Day

Like every other year, the Universitat de València holds the International Women’s Day with a wide programme of cultural and educational activities that will take place in the course of several days before March 8^th and last several weeks.

The online institutional event planned for March 8^th will start with UV Principal Mavi Mestre Escrivá reading the institutional manifesto. Then, a talk-discussion will take place between writer, essayist and scientist Remedios Zafra and journalist Magda Bandera.

The 8M programme starts a couple days before March 8^th at the UV with activities in campuses as well as at La Nau Cultural Centre and other University spaces such as the bookshelves of the UV library, which will be dedicated to publications by women or feminists.
