The Konica Minolta International University Contest begins

The Office of the Vice-Principal for Employment and Training Services, through UVentrepreneurships, aims to contribute to building an employability-oriented university committed to the progress of society and the professional development of its students. For this purpose, one of the objectives is to promote the specialisation of the campus by promoting, among others, training programs that allow students to develop the experience and the skills and abilities needed to develop intra-corporate processes in an organisation.

One of the lines of action of UVentrepreneurships to favour these objectives is to promote relationships and alliances of local, regional, national or international nature and with other elements of the innovation system. In this sense, the Universitat de València and Konica Minolta Business Solutions have signed an agreement to promote an international contest to form multidisciplinary teams of students to analyse organisational processes of the Universitat de València, in order to present ideas and develop proposals to improve these areas:

  • Student’s life cycle.
  • Academic and learning services.
  • Campus services/city life or students services.

Keeping in mind this objectives, the Office of the Vice-Principal for Employment and Training Services calls for students to participate in the Konica Minolta International University Contest. The students must be enrolled in the academic year 2019/2020, in official Degrees, Master Degrees o Doctoral Studies of the Universitat de València that can accredit a B2 English level.

The selected projects of the Universitat de València will be evaluated by a national jury together with the rest of the projects of the universities participating in the Konica Minolta International University Contest in Spain in June 2020 and if any of them is the winner it will be rewarded with a 3-day trip to Amsterdam to defend the project.

If the project were to win in the European phase, it would be rewarded with a trip to New York.

The deadline for submitting applications will remain open until 20th February and can be done through the online office of the Universitat de València.
