The Benvinguda en Igualtat (Spanish for Welcome in Equality) programme wraps up with the two-hour workshop ‘En línea y en directo, respeto’ (Spanish for Online and live, respect), given by the writer Fani Grande. The workshops will be given on 29th September from 11 am to 1 pm, and on 30th September from 6 pm to 8 pm.

The lack of presence, without being able to feel the gaze's focus or the breath's breath, makes virtual communication, sometimes, not always respectful when sharing our opinions or exposing our lives on the net. During the lockdown, verbal abuse has increased and there has been a noticeable rise in reports of harassment. Without respect, there isn’t communication, it is impossible to connect, online or live. The answer is not to quit social media and lose contact with all the information of this new virtual normality. The answer is to be online with non-violent and effective communication resources.
