On Friday, September 3^rd, at 7:30 p.m., the book Obvietats (o quasi). Filosofia necessària by Tobies Grimaltos will be presented at Teatro Ideal de Castelló (Ribera Alta). Aside from the author, the presentation will feature City Council of Castelló’s Councillor for Culture Núria Gregori and Professor of the UV’s Department of Philosophy Marc Artiga.

The obvious is often the hardest thing to see or say. We reflect on a series of 20 obvious things which, despite them being absolute truths, aren’t always accepted at first and can even spark discussion; and if we stop and think about them, they can open doors and shine a light on other parts of our minds. The implicit rendered explicit by these obviousness is frequently buried under innumerable prejudices, misunderstandings and confusion. Specifying a certain way of thinking and delimiting concepts greatly helps to clarify ideas, and it’s something worth trying.
