Under the above-mentioned title (Botanical Gems of Ribera and surroundings), Gerardo Stübing presents a new botany-inspired exhibition whose goal is to raise society’s awareness about the intrinsic value of nature’s creations, Spinoza’s Natura naturans, condemning the biodiversity loss as one of the consequences of climate change.

In this project, the artist resorts to a hybridisation between conventional painting and experimental photography, alchemically integrating techniques from the XIX, XX and XXI century to offer us novel and unconventional artistic creations.

The presented work stands as further proof of the enthusiasm and commitment shown by Stübing in his art projects.

The exhibition can be seen at Casa de Cultura de la Alcúdia, and it will then be presented in Cullera and Alzira.
