Converses al campus
On campus conversations: LGBTI harassment and violence in universities

As part of the ‘Converses al Campus’ (On campus conversations) series, Diversitats is scheduling a three-way dialogue on 27 November, to tackle LGBTI harassment and violence in universities, on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. 

Elena Martínez, Vice-rector for Equality, Diversity and Sustainability, will open the event, with the participation of Barbara Biglia, professor in the Department of Pedagogy at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, and principal researcher of the SeGReVUni project; José I. Pichardo, professor in the Department of Social Anthropology at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and director of the Antropología, Diversidad y Convivencia (Anthropology, Diversity and Coexistence) research group; and Qamar, university student and member of the Polymorfia collective. The conversation will be moderated and energised by Ruth Mestre, head of diversity initiatives at the Universitat.

The dialogue will take place on Friday 27 November at 10 a.m. through Blackboard. Prior registration is required at diversitats@uv.es.
