The 1st International Conference on Gender and Sexuality in Spanish Cinema is proposed as a space for interdisciplinary debate to analyse the discourses and representations of gender and sexuality in Spanish cinema, addressing their relationship with the socio-historical and political processes that are shaping the history of our present and that are linked to the need to deepen democracy, equality and social justice.
