Josep Vicent Boira, Commision of the Spanish Government for the Mediterranean Corridor, will talk in Gandia about this infrastructure

The conference will take place on Thursday 17th October at 8:00 p.m. in the Fomento’s building of Gandia in the Space for Economy. Boira will be with the Vice-Principal for Territorial Projection and Society, Jorge Hermosilla and the delegate consultant of the company E. Giner, Vicent Giner.

"El corredor mediterráneo: una infraestructura capital, el tren que La Safor no puede perder" (Mediterranean Corridor: a capital infrastructure, the train that cannot be missed by La Safor district) is the title of the conference that will be given by Josep Vicent Boira, which is the first meeting of the Space for Economy of this year. The act will be hosted by the Gandia’s mayor, Diana Morant, and moderate by the president of Cercle d’Economía de La Safor (Economy Circle of La Safor), Ramón soler. The meeting, as usual, will be in Fomento (C/ Sant Francesc de Borja, 56) and it is open for everybody.

In addition, at the same time of this meeting, the Gandia’s Centre of the Universitat de València holds in the Tossal’s building a small exhibition about the Mediterranean Corridor.  This exhibition, situated in the first floor, tries to show the importance of the Mediterranean axis in the communication of people and the distribution of merchandise since antiquity. It also focuses on the Valencian recognition of having a railway corridor. The exhibition will be open until November 15th.

The Space for Economy is a discussion meeting organised by Cercle d’Economía de La Safor, Levante EMV, Gandia’s campus of the Universitat Politècnica, UVGandia and Federació d’Associacions d’Empresaris (Federation of Entrepreneurs Associations) of La Safor district that tries to analyse, at least monthly, interesting topics for the business field of the district by professionals and experts of every field. Then, this is the first meeting of the academic year 2019/2020.
