The University of Valencia, through the Office of the Vice-principal for Employment and Training Services and with the collaboration of Banco Santander, has launched the second edition of the Capacitas programme to boost employability for university students and graduates with disabilities. The registration period is open until next April 9 inclusive.

This year’s call offers a maximum of 25 training grants in employability managed by University of Valencia General Foundation, through the employment service of the University of Valencia, UVjob.

Capacitas aims to promote the employability of the programme’s participants in different entities, fostering quality employment through itineraries of career counselling, training actions and awareness-raising for companies. As a result, Capacitas students gain skills, tools and resources to improve their employability, such as the ability to draw up a course of action to enhance their professional profile.

Last year, during the programme’s first edition, UVjob found job placements for 9 participants, through their department specialised in disability care.
