The opening videoconference will take place this afternoon at 15:00 and will cover the activities calendar, the teaching staff involved and all matters related to the development and management of the University of Valencia’s programme, which has the support of Banco Santander.

The 2021 edition of the Inserta Programme kicks off on Thursday, May 13, and will be held online. Its main goal is to boost employability for third and fourth year degree students of Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Criminology and Political and Public Administration Sciences of the University of Valencia.

The programme is organised by the Office of the Vice-principal for Employment and Training Services, through UVjob and with the collaboration of Banco Santander, and aims to improve the students’ employability. To this end, participants are encouraged through individual and group training sessions to learn skills in order to define their transversal professional profiles and goals.

The programme also includes activities to promote employability by providing resources and techniques to job hunt effectively, knowledge of the labour market, identification of professional interests, analysis and self-knowledge of professional skills, and decision-making skills to plan for your own professional project, among other topics.

The training will take place during May, July and September. The activities offered include two individual career guidance sessions and four training activities divided into the following courses: “Personal branding and job search through social networks”, “Entrepreneurship, creativity and adaptability to change”, "Effective communication” and "Basic digital skills to improve productivity and employability”.

To close, a business networking event will be held to boost the professional career of participating students through an online career guidance day with prestigious companies.
