He is a professor in the Department of Art History of the University of Valencia, although for several years he has been in charge of services to occupy different positions of responsibility, as Chief Curator of the Department of Italian and French Painting (until 1700) or Assistant Director of Conservation and Research, in the same Prado Museum.
