David Vallés-Pérez (Albaida, 1997), student of the Master's Degree in Advanced Physics, has been awarded the 'Xavier Gómez i Font' award to the linguistic quality of Master's Theses in English, in its 2020 edition. The 'Xavier Gómez i Font' awards to the linguistic quality of bachelor's and masters' theses in Valencian and in English aim to promote the appropriate usage of Catalan and English in academic works, encourage the usage of Catalan, and stimulate the usage of English as a tool for the internationalisation of the University.

The work carried out by David Vallés-Pérez is entitled "On the accretion history of galaxy clusters", and has been supervised by Prof. Susana Planelles Mira and Prof. Vicent Quilis Quilis, both members of this department. David Vallés-Pérez is currently a PhD student in Physics at this department.
