Laura  Badenes Ribera,  with a degree in Law, in Criminology and  in Psychology, Msc degree in Advances in Investigation and Treatments in Psychopatology and Health, in Sanitary General Psychology, and in Criminology and Security, and PhD in Investigation in Psychology. Currently, she works as Associate Professor at the Department of Methodology of the Sciences of the Behaviour of the University of Valencia and is Head of the Msc. degree in Health and Social attention to Dependency of the same university. She is member of the group of investigation ARMAQoL, focused in the investigation and application of methodology advanced to the quality of life. His areas of investigation include statistical reform in Psychology, statistical cognition, meta-analysis, sexual prejudice, violence and quality of life. Biography
 

Assistant Professor of the Department of Methodology of the the Behavioral Sciences of the Faculty of Psychology at the Universitat de València, of which I have been director between 2011 and 2018. My research interests have focused both on methodological aspects such as basic and applied. In the methodological, highlight the participation in the development of normative databases of fragments and stems of Spanish words (with their corresponding indicators) to be used in experimentation with tasks of verbal stimulus completion. It is also important to mention my participation in the development of short forms of different versions of some of the Wechsler scales to assess intellectual performance in both children (WISC) and adults (clinical and  non clinical, WAIS). Basic research has focused on the experimentation on the functioning of different aspects of human memory (working memory, implicit memory, ...) in both normal and clinical populations. Applied research has been focused on schizophrenia patients with the aim of developing and applying programs to improve their cognition and social functioning.

Biography
 

Dolores Frías-Navarro is Full Professor of Research Methods and Designs in the Department of Behavioral Sciences Methodology at the University of Valencia, Spain. She doctor in Psychology. Its scientific production has been developed within the scope of research design and the application of statistical techniques. Statistical cognition, statistical re-education, effect size, meta-research, and the uses and abuses of statistical significance tests are prominent areas of her research unit. From the area of applied research, she has a long career in the study of minority stress (LGBT +, immigrants and other groups) and modern prejudice. Also noteworthy is the work she does on women in Science, the gender gap, the culture of research, the integration of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in university teaching together with the gender perspective and anxiety academic before the evaluation. From the field of teaching, he has carried out several teaching innovation projects making use of new tools for learning research design and data analysis such as cinema, analogies, exam wrappers and critical reading (active) of articles and research reports. She has developed measurement instruments to measure the variables linked to these themes.

Maria C. Fuentes, PhD, is Assistant Professor of Psychological Methods and Design of Research at the Department of Methodology of Behavioral Sciences in the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Valencia. Her research areas are mainly focused on the analysis of the psychometric properties of the measurement instruments used in research and the cross-cultural validation of the two-dimensional and four-typology theoretical model of parental socialization.

Laura Galiana Llinares, with a degree in Teaching in the Field of English language, with Outstanding Graduation Award (2005), degree in Psychology with Outstanding Graduation Award (2010), Msc. degree in Psychogerontology (2012) and PhD in Health and Social Attention to Dependency and Autonomy Promotion with Outstanding Graduation Award (2015). She currently works as a Professor at the Department of Methodology of the Behavioral Sciences of the University of Valencia. She is a member of the research group ARMAQoL, focused on advance research and methodology applied to quality of life. Her research areas include structural equation modeling and their application to the fields of professionals' quality of life, palliative care, and elderly, among others. She has participated in local (Biomed, Valoritza i Transfereix, Universitat de València; Fisabio, Generalitat Valenciana), national (Retos, Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia) and international research projects (GendernetPlus), both as a member of the research group and as the leader researcher. Ana Hernández got her PhD in Psychology in 1998 at the University of Valencia, where she has been associate professor since 2003. She has a double affiliation with the department of Methodology, and the Research Institute for Personnel Psychology, Organizational Development, and Quality of Working Life (IDOCAL).

Her main methodological research interests are related to validity of measurement instruments, in general, and scale and item functioning, in particular. She has published about these topics in journals such as Multivariate Behavioral Research, Journal of Applied Psychology and Structural Equation Modeling. She has represented Spain in the EFPA commission for the European accreditation of test users and is member of the Spanish Test Commission within the Spanish Psychological Association. She is current secretary of the AEMCCO (Spanish Association of Methodology of Behavioral Sciences), and member of the executive committee of the EAM (European Association of Methodology). 

Regarding WOP-P Psychology, her main research interests are related to team climate, leadership, and underemployment. She has recently published on these topics in journals such as Journal of Applied Psychology, European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology, and the book Underemployment: Psychological, Economic, and Social Challenges, among others.

Amparo Oliver, female. PhD in Psychology, Full Professor in Quantitative Methods Applied to Behavioral Sciences at University of Valencia, SPAIN. Head of the interdisciplinary PhD program in Promotion of Autonomy and Socio-Sanitary Care. Head of ARMAQoL research group (Advanced Research Methods Applied to Quality of Life, GIUV-2017-359). Four 6-year research periods acknowledged by ANECA. index h: 25, index i10 = 41.

 

Main domain: Research in advanced statistical models applied to quality of life and welfare promotion. Some particular fields with relevant gender perspective: successful aging; dignity & quality at the end of life (palliative care patients and professionals inner CV); gender violence (diagnostic and intervention); equity and entrepreneurship from education. About 120 publications in journals as Archives of Gerontology and Geriatrics, Structural Equation Modelling, Social Indicators Research, Journal of Pain and Symptom Management, European Psychologist, Work & Stress, etc.

Alfonso Pitarque, born in Alcaniz (Teruel), graduate in Psychology (University of Valencia, 1984) and PhD in Experimental Psychology (University of Valencia, 1987). I currently work as Assistant Professor in the Department of Methodology at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Valencia, Spain.

My research career has always focused on experimentation in human memory and healthy and pathological aging (see publications). From 1986 to 2013 (during ten consecutive research projects) I was a full-time researcher of the research team led by Prof. Salvador Algarabel in the Experimental Psychology lab of the University of Valencia. During the 2014-2016 and 2017-2019 trienniums I was the full-time main researcher of the research projects PSI2013-43533-R and PSI2016-77405-R funded by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. During the 2020-2022 triennium I was a full-time researcher of the research project PID2109-103956RB-I00 funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation directed by Prof. Dr. Juan Carlos Meléndez. I am currently a full-time researcher in the research project PID2022-136798OB-I00 funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation for the three-year period 2023-2025 and directed by Prof. Dr. Juan Carlos Meléndez.

I have published 50 experimental articles about human memory and healthy or pathological aging in journals with impact factor in Web of Science (see publications), such as Neuropsychology (Q1), Neuropsychology (Q1), Psicothema (Q1), Aging, Neuropsychology and Cognition (Q2), Consciousness and Cognition (Q2), Scandinavian Journal of Psychology (Q2), Memory (Q2), European Journal of Cognitive Psychology (Q3), The Journal of General Psychology (Q3), etc.

From 1990 to 2017, I was the editorial coordinator, secretary and associate editor of the journal Psicologica (https://psicologicajournal.com) with an impact factor in the JCR-SSCI of Web of Science since 2007 (section: Psychology, Experimental). Currently, Psicologica is the official journal of the Spanish Society of Experimental Psychology (SEPEX: https://websepex.com).

From 2006 to 2010 I was the secretary of the Spanish Society of Experimental Psychology (SEPEX: https://websepex.com).

I have positively evaluated 6 teaching quinquennia (the last for the period 2016-2020) and 5 six-year terms of research by the Spanish Commission to Evaluate the Research Activity (the last for the period 2016-2021).

Outside of my job, I am passionate about mountain biking, travel, and literature.

Juan Carlos Ruiz is Associate Professor in the Department of Methodology of the Behavioral Sciences at the University of Valencia. He teaches Research Methods in undergraduate degree studies, in the Master's Degree in General Health Psychology and in the Master's Degree in Specialization in Logopedic Intervention. He also teaches in the Doctorate Programme in Clinical and Health Psychology.

   He is the director of the research group "Psychological assessment and intervention in cognition in mental disorder" (TMEIC) and his research activity focuses on the study of cognitive deficits in schizophrenia, the optimization of stimuli material for the study of implicit memory in these patients, and in the development of reduced forms of the WAIS for it's use in schizophrenia. Dr. Jaime Sanmartín is a member of the Research Institute of Traffic and Road Safety of the University of Valencia (INTRAS-UV) and Full Professor of Methodology of the Behavioural Sciences at the University of Valencia. He has directed and authored numerous research studies in the development and application of quantitative methods, psychological tests and questionnaires for studying and evaluating human factors in traffic accidents and road safety. Inés Tomás Marco is Associate Professor in the Department of Methodology of the Behavioral Sciences at the University of Valencia. She has a PhD in social psychology and work and organizational psychology, and she is member of the IDOCAL (Research institute in Human Resources Psychology, Organizational Development, and Quality of Work). She has published numerous research studies in the discipline in books and international scientific journals such as: Accident, Analysis & Prevention; International Journal of Testing; Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology; Journal of Safety Research; Journal of Vocational Behaviour; Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology; Risk Analysis; Safety Science; Structural Equation Modeling: A multidisciplinary Journal; The Service Industries Journal, etc. She collaborates in different research projects about topics such as demographic diversity and work teams’ performance, safety behavior in nuclear power plants, leadership, organizational climate, employability and overqualification.
