Cicle de Seminaris EM-Economia Circular: primer seminari online

Thursday, 6 November will take place the first of several seminars: Economic viability and sustainability of the technological innovative proposals in the area of circular economy. Thursday, 6 November 2025, from 12pm to 1pm (zoom).

The transformation from an economic model towards circular economy offers great opportunities to enterprises and society as a whole. This entails the implementation of new processes and new ways of acting that are more efficient and sustainable at an economic, social and environmental level.

Being able to meet the challenge of this new model based on the circular economy will only be possible through the collaboration, participation and involvement of the whole of society, not only of public administrations but also of all economic sectors, social actors and, in particular, consumers and citizens, whose purchasing decisions as well as their awareness in this area are of vital importance.

To address this challenge, it is necessary to promote public-private collaboration and coordination among all the economic and social actors in order to take advantage of the opportunities derived from this paradigm shift that guarantees an economic and social growth, both lasting and sustainable.

To contribute to a better understanding of this challenge, the Chair TEM-Circular Economy a series of online seminars that will begin next Thursday 6 November and that will take place weekly. The first seminar is titled: Economic viability and sustainability of the technological innovative proposals in the area of circular economy, will be led by the director of the Chair, professor Francesc Hernández Sancho.
