The Valencian Government, through the Department of Participation, Transparency, Cooperation and Democratic Quality, and the Universitat de València collaborate to carry out activities of various kinds to train future professionals in matters of undoubted interest to the citizens of the Valencian Community in the field of the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.

The coordinated implementation of training, research, information and documentation activities is considered useful to offer society new ways for accessing knowledge, training and professional development through specific projects or programmes which represent the organisation of courses, conferences, meetings and congresses, the edition of publications, the awarding of research grants or any other events or activities related to the 2030 Agenda.

Activities are contemplated in the following areas: academic training (face-to-face and online), research for Sustainable Development and applied research linked to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda, also offering information and documentation on the achievements, progress, good practices and activities developed by the different actors of sustainable development (international organisations, governments, universities, civil society and the private sector) to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) directly linked to the central axis: PEOPLE.
