It carries out, among other functions:

  • In relation to information and attention to the public:
    • Adopting the necessary measures to ensure adequate attention to users
  • In relation to legislation and regulations:
    • Collaboration in the drafting and application of internal regulations or operating guidelines on matters within its competence.
    • To know and apply the legal provisions and regulations related to the matters within its competence.
  • In relation to files and procedures:
    • Be responsible for the custody, control and correct use of the documentation and assets assigned to him/her.
  • In relation to the management of the services provided by the SCSIE:
    • Management of user registrations in the Lims Platform of the UV.
    • Invoicing of services provided.
    • Updating of Public Prices.
  • In relation to the management of the acquisition of scientific instruments for the SCSIE:
    • Collaborate in the drafting of the Technical Specifications.
    • Application, processing and monitoring of expenses corresponding to the acquisition of scientific infrastructure with ERDF funds, coordinated with the Administrative Contracting Service of the University of Valencia.
    • Follow up and collaborate in the coordination of the maintenance of scientific infrastructure.
  • In relation to the management of general SCSIE matters:
    • Collaboration in the preparation of annual reports.
    • Collaboration in the maintenance of the website and @LIMS platform.
    • Coordination of internal meetings and maintenance of internal regulations.
    • Other administrative procedures related to the Service.
  • In relation to the management of the spaces assigned to the SCSIE:
    • Maintenance management of the facilities.
    • Updating the catalogue of spaces.
    • Follow up and collaborate in the coordination of the maintenance of the SCSIE facilities.
  • In relation to the management of SCSIE personnel:
    • Management of absences, training courses and other procedures relating to the personnel dependent on the Service.
    • Management of contracts, programmes, etc., coordinated with the PAS Human Resources Services of the University of Valencia.
  • In relation to the management of SCSIE expenses:
    • Management of its own budget.
    • Processing of expenses.
    • Maintenance of the own inventory.
