Image Processing programmes

FV Viewer 4.2b

Olympus free programme for viewing and editing images and for basic operations of oif and oib files.

ImageJ

Free programme for image processing. Its modular programme allows incorporating a great variety of subroutines that allow the development of colocalisation, statistical analysis, 3D reconstruction studies, etc. This programme developed under Java is available for different platforms.

MBF

Soubroutines package for the ImageJ programme that contains a great variety of options for advanced analysis. Also, allows working easily with images obtained from great variety of equipment as it supports various formats like .oif, .oib, .lif, .lei, etc.

WCIF

Subroutines package for the ImageJ programme that contains a great variety of advanced analysis options. It is a comfortable alternative to individual load routines from the ImageJ website.

FIJI

Free image processing programme that can be described as a distribution of ImageJ. This software has an automatic update funcion.

ICY

Free image processing software with a wide range of plugins for image processing and analysis.

CombineZP

Free image processing that combines a stack of images partially focused for creating extended depth of field images.

Helicon Focus

This programme generates fully focused images from a series of images with different focused areas. Also, it can create 3D reconstructions of the object of interest. You can get a 30 days trial version of this programme with the possibility of getting a free license.

LCS Lite

Free Leica programme for viewing and editing images generated in Leica confocal equipment. This programme works for WinNT/Win2000/WinXP.

Simulation and analysis programmes for microscopy

CASINO 2.0

Monte Carlo simulation programme for Windows of electron trajectories in the internal of a solid in Scanning Electronic Microscopy. The programme is free but is necessary to contact with the author for downloading it.

DTSA

Desktop Spectrum analyzer is a programme for the analysis of RX spectra generated in electronic microscopy. It allows the identification, quantification, and simulation of spectra. This is a free programme but only works on Mac.

DTSA-II

Desktop Spectrum analyzer is a programme for manipulation and analysis of RX spectra generated by electronic microscopy. It allows the identification, quantification and simulation of spectra. This version is compatible with any platform.

JEMS

Java Version of the EMS programme for simulation of high resolution images, diffraction patterns and beam-shaping convergent patterns. This version is only for educational and training purposes as it has only has a small number of structures. The full version is not free.

Licensed available programmes in our service

IMARIS 7.1.0

Programme of analysis and 3D visualization of series of images of confocal microscopy capable of generating rendered models, what makes possible, among other things, the measurement of volumes and distances of tridimensional structures.

MEX 5.1

This programme allows the analysis and surface measurements by calculating 3D models from to SEM photographs taken at different angles.

SANDIUM 5.0

Programme for analysis and processing of digital images.
