The plant production section, assigned to the Central Service for Experimental Research since 1999, has as a priority supporting research and other scientific purposes, including university teaching. The objective of the section is to provide to users (teaching or research institutions and private companies) the facilities and plant production techniques as well as maintenance services of plants, needed for the development of those research projects that require any type of experimentation with plants, included genetically modified plants.
