Multigenic analysis

General aspects

The user interested can contact with the staff of the Unit to request information and/or budget of the service.
The budget must always have to be signed by both parties, both by the respondible of the project as the Coordinator of the Central Unit for Medicine Research.

In case of said budget being, there exist a series of suggestions:

Sample requirements

  • 3 copies by experimental condition are recommended.
  • It is indispensable that the user obtains a high quality and rich RNA.
  • Advisable RNA extraction: mirVana RNA isolation kit by AMBION (CAT # AM1560) or TRIzol method.
  • There is no problem in sending more amount of RNA o more concentrated.
  • When the samples come to the Unit we will proceed to determine the integrity of the samples by means of the Bioanalyzer 2100.

Those samples that failed the minimum quality control will be noticed to the researcher, so that he/she seeks alternatives and solutions.

Sending the samples

Samples must be labeled and identified, and come accompained with an information sheet where the data of the samples are described.

The RNA/DNA samples will be sent freezed in cardice in 1.5 mL tubes in water free of RNases.

Sample reception schedule from 9:00 to 14:00. You must report by phone to 963864100, extension 55295 or by e-mail to amultigenico@uv.es prior to send the samples.

Sending of results

Resultados are sent to the user in CD or DVD format or through the option chosen by both parties.

After the reception of results, user must fill in a form handed by the Service where he/she should indicate that the reception has been fitting.
