The “Service Charter is a written document through which organizations publicly report on the services they manage, quality commitments, and the rights and duties of users. The decision of writing “The Service Charter” is made directly from the Strategic Plan 2008-2011. In its strategic line 121 stablish the need of generalize this management tool to the different university services. Faced with this institutional orientation, and at the proposal of the Board, throughout 2011, a Drafting Commission of the Service Charter, made up of all the members of UVdisability is in charge of preparing the content of said Charter. Once the Charter is finalized, it is approved in November and is officially presented on December 12, 2011. The second edition of the UVdisability Service Charter has been approved by the Board of Directors on May 18, 2015, at no objections to the favorable validation report presented by the Vice Principal for Sustainability and Planning have been submitted.

The third edition of the Service Charter has been approved on June 25, 2019 by the Vice Principal for Equality, Diversity and Sustainability. Currently, this third edition is available in four versions (brochure, reduced, extended and accessible) in Valencian, Spanish and English.
