This service offers users the possibility to contact the UV staff, directly without being directed to any switchboard. This service allows for access from outside the university to the intern or short numbering of the UV
The extensions from the internal system can be accessed through the virtual operator service or switchboard.
These extensions consists of a five-digit code. E.g. 55555.
We may consult the contact number of the University Staff member, have access to their information for both their full name and internal extension code at the Board of Directors of the UV.
The virtual operator is an automatic system which works non-stop 24 hours a day all year round. The virtual operator automated speech system allows the users of this service to be assisted in three languages:
- (+34) 9635 44300 in Valencian.
- (+34) 9635 44980 in English.
(+34) 9638 64150 in Spanish.
The system offers the ability to communicate rapidly and easily with our staff members.
When phoning, the virtual operator will prompt users to dial the extension of the desired member of staff, if you already know the extension. You just have to wait for the operator to finish speaking before you can dial the five digit extension code on your keyboard and then you need to wait for the call to be accepted.
If the extension you dialed does not match any University, the call will be directed to the UV Switchboard.
On the other hand, if you do not know the extension for the person you want to contact, you need to dial "0" or wait six seconds to be connected to the switchboard.

Switchboard Office hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 21:00 and Saturdays from 9:00 to 13:00.
Phone calls are only answered within the office hours.
