Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz is organizing a five-day staff week on “European perspectives on leadership in higher education” in Mainz from 12th to 16th September 2022. Participants will be offered space and input for exchange about good leadership at universities in the FORTHEM Alliance.
These questions will guide the FORTHEM staff week with input and discussion sessions, exchange formats, peer consultation, job shadowing and methodical workshops:
- Is there a European perspective on leadership in higher education?
- What do universities expect from their executive staff and from their personnel development programs?
- How can personnel development staff (HRD) support good leadership?
During the workshop, addressed to executive staff and personnel development staff (HRD), participants will strengthen their leadership skills, methodological competencies and develop a mutual understanding of leadership in higher education. Travel expenses can be covered by Erasmus+ Staff training upon funding application at your home institution. Confirmations to registered participants will be sent by the end of July.
