Directed by the IRTIC, in the Science Park of the Universitat, the main objective of the project is the development and experimental evaluation of software and protocol to support professionals and relatives involved in the education of children with learning difficulties, who will learn to decide the most adequate technologic solutions in each case.

The project, which began in September 2015 and in will be in force for two years, counts with a grant of more or less 250,000 euros from the European Union.

A total of eleven Spanish, Turkish and British researchers participate in SMART-ASD.
