The 3rd European Conference on Democracy and Human Rights will take place on 5 May. The content to be discussed is the situation of freedom of expression and media in Europe, one of the main topics of the European Conference in Kristiansand 2021.
The issue of freedom of expression remains a major concern in Europe, especially after the recent developments in the case of Ukraine. The 3rd European Conference will address this issue in the context of extraordinary threats to the democratic order in Europe, to human dignity and our way of life. Therefore, it will address the European crises caused by the war in Ukraine and give full attention to the voices of those who are fighting back, in defence of democracy and human rights.
