5 minutes of silence and a release of balloons on Friday in the three campus will put an end to the activities that have been carried out during these months in the framework of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. The Theatre Club suggests a forum theatre on Friday 25 November with the projection of ‘Casa de Muñecas’ (Dolls’ House).
In spite of bringing forward the institutional act to the 24 November in La Nau, on 25 November gatherings of 5 minutes of silence for the victims of gender violence have been called at 12:00 in the three campus of the UV. The three meeting points for the 5 minutes of silence are the Charles Darwin Square (inner square of the Office of the Principal) in the Blasco Ibáñez Campus, in the Faculty of Economics of the Tarongers Campus and in front of the café of the Burjassot Campus. This year, a release of balloons has also been included to fill the sky with purple and black and that way make visible the social scourge of gender violence.
The Theatre Club suggests a forum theatre on Friday 25 November with the projection of ‘Casa de Muñecas’ (Dolls’ House) and a subsequent colloquium in the Matilde Salvador Hall of La Nau. The act that will be carried out at 19:30 is organised by the Theatre Forum Society in collaboration with the Centre of Music Documentation, Theatre and Dance CultuArts.
