The Principal Peset Hall of Residence opens, this Wednesday 28 January at 20:00, a collective exhibition which is organised by Cazadoras Asociados, in collaboration with the Universitat de València, in memory of Evarist Navarro, ideologist and main driver of this artists’ association.

Some members of this artists association participate in this exhibition such as: Ximo Amigó, Julio Bosque, Calo Carratalá, Enrique Carrazoni, Toni Domènech, Antonio Girbés, Jarr, José Morea, Guillermo Peiró Roggen, Manolo Rey Fueyo, Pepe Romero, Manuel Sáez, Bia Santos, Sebastián Nicolau, Rubén Tortosa, Lukas Ulmi and Joan Verdú. Carmen Calvo and Miquel Navarro also join this event.

Each and every one of these nineteen artists, who participate in this collective exhibition, show through their own aesthetic language, their recognition to the artist and the man, with explicit references in some cases, or more indirectly in others.

Moreover, the exhibition includes the last work of Evarist Navarro, an oil painting which the artist painted while he was gravely ill.

Evarist Navarro (Castelló de Rugat, 1959-2014) was part of the generation of Valencian artists whose work had a special place in the renewal of sculpture in Spain during 80s on 20th century. He studied in Barcelona and Valencia and was a doctor in Fine Arts and a lecturer of the Universitat Politècnica de València. His work is present in several interventions of public works, as well as in collections of public institutions such as IVAM.
