A new protocol of the Universidad de Granada aims at preventing and detecting the sexual harassment cases that have not been reported, which constitute the overwhelming majority. Its promoter, the professor and director of the Equality Unit of that university, Miguel Lorente, has presented it in the Universitat de València and has offered such revealing data of what happens in the academic institutions of higher education.

The UV initiates the procedure to teach a Degree in Data Science. This is a discipline with a high professional demand and a crucial social importance. Because, as the Professor Leo Lorenz said, ‘Big Data is a synonym of political power.’ It is also a great scientific and employment opportunity.

‘Miento, por lo tanto existo’ (I lie, therefore I am) is the title of the conferences which have been organised this week by the La Nau Cultural Centre. The aim of this activity is to study thoroughly in the lie, to find its sense, to explore its effects, to discover its influence on the cultural aspect taking into account that a lie is a lack of honestity.

Maria Ascensión Olcina, student of the Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, has done a cooperation stay in Ethiopia. She has acquired great experiences that she wanted to share. That is why she has written a litter which has been published this week in infoUniversitat.
