Between 13 and 15 September the UV takes part in the annual conference of the European Association for International Education (EAIE) that this year celebrates its 28th edition in Seville. The Vice-Principal for Internationalisation and Cooperation, Guillermo Palao, has attended the meeting. Palao has been accompanied by the delegate of the Vice-Principal and by the people in charge of five UV centres: Engineering; Physical Activity and Sport Sciences; Pharmacy; Language Studies; Translation and Communication; and Psychology.

In the conference, the UV has advertised the official study programmes and the specific programmes for the foreign students. New relationships with higher education institutions from all over the world have also been stablished and meetings with the partner universities of the Universitat de València in the fields of mobility, research and international networks have been held.

The participation in this fair allows to come to new agreements of student and teaching staff exchanges within the Erasmus programme as well as to consolidate the existing ones. This favours the fact that the institution continues being the third university with a great number of exchanges in the European level within the aforementioned programme.

In the last years, the participation of the institution in fairs has been strengthened. Both the Office of the Vice-Principal for Internationalisation and Cooperation and the Office of International Relations have as one of their main goals to increase the visibility of the institution at the international level. EIAE is the most important conference on higher education that takes place in Europe. More than 6000 participants from universities of more than 90 countries all over the world attend this event. This edition has involved 21 workshops, 152 sessions and more than 300 stands.
