Rubén Amo Cifuentes is currently working as a pre-doctoral researcher in training (FPU) in the Department of Applied Economics at the University of Valencia. He is also a PhD student in the Industrial Economics programme at the University of Valencia. He collaborates with the research group Public Economic Evaluation (EvalPub) and the Chair of Autonomous Taxation, both at the University of Valencia.

Rubén holds a degree in Economics from the University of Valencia, having received the Extraordinary Degree Award 2020. He has also completed a Master in Economic Policy and Public Economics at the University of Valencia. His line of research is based on Public Economics and Fiscal Federalism, specifically on impact assessment and microsimulation of wealth taxes.
