Pablo Amador is a quantitative ecologist and aquatic ecotoxicologist interested in understanding how ecological processes and biological communities change across spatial and temporal scales. His research combines long-term ecological time series, GIS, spatially explicit models and statistical modelling to identify ecological patterns and assess the effects of environmental change and chemical stressors. He completed his PhD at the Universitat de València, conducting his doctoral research at the Albufera Biological Station (EBA), and defended his thesis in 2026. His work focuses particularly on macroecotoxicology, community and functional ecology, ecological stability and environmental risk assessment.
