Summarized CV. Anabel Forte Deltell was born in Yecla, Murcia, in 1982. She graduated in Mathematics (2005) and Statistics (2006) from the University of Valencia. Anabel earned her Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Valencia in February 2011 under the supervision of Susie Bayarri and Gonzalo García-Donato with a thesis titled 'Objective Bayesian Criteria for Variable Selection.' During her doctoral period, she visited the Statistical and Applied Mathematical Sciences Institute (SAMSI) in the Research Triangle, Durham, North Carolina, USA (2009), and the Statistical Lab of the University of Cambridge in the UK (2010). After completing her Ph.D., Anabel worked in the Economics department of the University Jaume I (Castellón) as a postdoctoral researcher for three years. During this time, she collaborated on various projects applying statistical methods to economic and socio-political data. In September 2014, she returned to the University of Valencia as an assistant professor in the Department of Statistics and Operations Research. Since 2020, Anabel has held the position of Associate Professor (Profesora Titular) in the same department. Her main research lines focus on: 1. Uncertainty quantification. Bayesian model selection. 2. Hierarchical Bayesian models for highly structured data. Under these research lines, Anabel has worked in diverse fields such as health, agriculture, economics, finance, and biology, collaborating with international research teams in Spain, France, and Australia.
