Biography
Ana-Isabel Martínez-Hernández is a doctoral assistant professor in the department of English and German at the University of Valencia. She obtained her PhD in Applied Languages, Literature and Translation from the Universitat Jaume I in 2022. She was part of educational innovation groups such as CLHIOS or WikiTrad, and the GENTT research group. Today, she is a member of the Interuniversity Institute of Applied Modern Languages (IULMA) and the TeLL-ME (Teaching and Learning Languages in Multicultural Education) research group. She has been part of the CertAcles evaluation committee and has given training courses to teachers and preparation courses for accreditation at various levels in English. Her interests and lines of research focus on new technologies in the teaching and learning of English as a foreign language, as well as special needs in the English classroom. Her works have been published in national and international journals, including Porta Linguarum, Miscelánea: Journal of English and American Studies or Pragmalingüística. Likewise, she participates in the editorial committee of the magazine Ibérica and has been a reviewer in national and international magazines such as MonTi, Porta Linguarum or Teaching and Teacher Education.
