Cristina Aragonés-Jericó holds degrees in Business Administration and Market Research and Analysis Techniques (ITM) from the University of Valencia (2003), and a PhD in Marketing from the same university (2013). She currently works as a permanent lecturer (2022) in the Department of Marketing and Market Research at the University of Valencia. She is a member of the research group MarkAp and has been a collaborator of the POMA research group since 2019. She has also served as co-director of the consolidated teaching innovation group MarkAct since its creation in 2023.
Her research areas focus on educational innovation, marketing applied to consumer behaviour, positioning, and branding. In these fields, she has participated in international research projects (FORTHEM, CUES) and national projects (SERVDIST, ENFRONTERA).
She has published book chapters related to her research area and articles in peer-reviewed journals (such as the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management, British Food Journal, International Journal of Sports Marketing and Sponsorship, Consumer Behavior in Tourism and Hospitality, among other relevant journals). She has also presented papers at national and international conferences in the field and serves as a reviewer for scientific journals.
