Alberto Pérez Calvo has a Graduate Degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Valencia (UV). Currently, he carries out his research and teaching work in the Department of Chemical Engineering of the UV as Research Staff in Training (FPU) within the IQCATAL research group.
During the degree and the master's degree he obtained the award for academic excellence, along with the award in 2025 of the prestigious National Award "Avelino Corma" (Environmental Applications category), awarded by the Spanish Federation and the Official Colleges of Chemical Engineers, in recognition of the quality of his Master's Thesis.
In the teaching field, he teaches classes in the Degree in Chemical Engineering and in the Double Degree in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, focusing on fundamental subjects such as Bases of Chemical Engineering and Chemical Reaction Engineering. His current lines of research are framed in the development of environmental applications within process engineering, specifically in the development of catalysts for the use and transformation of CO2.
