Biography

Ana completed her PhD in Economics at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, with her doctoral research developed at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). She holds two postgraduate degrees: an MA in Agrifood and Environmental Economics from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (2017) and an MA in Management and Social Development from the University of Loja, Ecuador (2014).

Ana has a strong academic and applied background, with over seven years of experience in the management of research projects in both academic and industry settings. She has also been actively involved in initiatives aligned with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Her research focuses on quantitative methods applied to inequalities in access to healthcare, environmental science, development economics, and the economics of science and innovation. She is currently affiliated with the Centre for Innovation Research (CIRCLE) at Lund University, Sweden, where she carried out part of her doctoral research.
