Amparo Sanz Marco received the BSc degree in Chemistry in 2009, and MSc in Organic Chemistry in 2011, both from the University of València. Dr. Sanz-Marco obtained her PhD degree in June 2015, deserving an "Excellent cum Laude" mention. During the PhD period, she also carried out a 4 month stay with the group of Prof. J. P. Morken at Boston College (USA), working on stereoselective diboration of alkenes. In August 2015, she moved to Stockholm University (Sweden) to carry out a post-doctoral research stay in the group of Prof. B. Martín-Matute for 4 years. Her research focused on isomerization of allylic alcohols, C-H activation, metal-organic frameworks, CO2 activation and electrochemistry. Since February 2020, she is working at the University of Valencia as “Juan de la Cierva-Incorporación” researcher.
