Biography
Professor of Applied Mathematics at the University of Valencia. He received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from this university in 1992. He has regularly spent time in Los Angeles (UCLA), Paris (Université Pierre et Marie Curie), Marseille (École Centrale Marseille). He has authored 3 books. He has published over 40 research articles with more than 25 co-authors in leading international journals on Applied Mathematics. He has directed 6 doctoral theses. His current interests are in Multiresolution Analysis based on nonlinear techniques and their applications.
