My field of research is Extragalactic Astrophysics, in particular the study of the large-scale structure of the Universe and its relationship with the evolution of galaxies. My main interest lies in the development of advanced statistical techniques for the analysis of data from large galaxy surveys, and also in their application to other fields.

I hold a degree in Physics (2006) and a PhD (2011, with special distinction) from the Universitat de València. Subsequently, between 2011 and 2014, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Computational Cosmology at Durham University (UK). Between 2014 and 2017, I worked as a doctoral researcher at the Astronomical Observatory of the Universitat de València. In 2018-2019, I worked in the Department of Computer Systems and Computing at the Polytechnic University of València (UPV), applying data mining techniques to the prevention of banking crimes and corruption.

In 2019, I returned to astronomy and to the Universitat de València, first as a researcher and then as an assistant professor. Since November 2023, I have been a permanent senior lecturer in the Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics.

I have published 33 articles in international peer-reviewed journals, co-supervised two doctoral theses (two more in progress) and four master's theses. I have been part of various international collaborations for galaxy surveys (such as ALHAMBRA and PanSTARRS-1) and am currently part of the team carrying out the J-PAS survey from the Javalambre Astrophysical Observatory (Teruel).
