Betlem Pallardó holds a degree in Hispanic Studies and a Master’s in Advanced Hispanic Studies, both from Universitat de València. She is currently undertaking her PhD as a doctoral researcher at the Department of Spanish Philology at the Universitat de València, supported by the FPU (Formación del Profesorado Universitario) grant within the PhD Programme in Advanced Hispanic Studies under the supervision of Jaume Peris Blanes and Claudia Alonso Recarte. She is also the managing editor of the academic journal Kamchatka. Revista de análisis cultural.

Her research interests are centred on animal exhibition and its cultural portrayals.
