Biography

Joaquín Díaz Boils is a Doctor in Algebra and professor at the Department of Applied Economics of the University of Valencia since 2022. He has carried out research in various fields: Theory of Categories, Theory of Computability, Applied Mathematics, Didactics of Mathematics, Topology and recent development in Statistics. His works have been published, among others, in the following journals: Electronic Notes in Theoretical Computer Science, Journal of Logic and Computation, Journal of The Electrochemical Society, Neuroscience & Biobehavioral Reviews, Communications in Algebra, Suma and Phenomenology and the Cognitive Sciences.  

He has taught classes at the UJI, at the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, at the UNED and currently also at the UOC and has carried out research studies at the University of Calgary, at the University of Genova, at the Ohio University and at the Pompeu Fabra University.

Currently, his field of research is the application of Algebraic Topology to Economics.
