Pedro Valdelomar was born in Cartagena (Spain) on December 4, 1971. He holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de València (2001) and held a research fellowship until 2005. In 2003, he published two international patents in the field of infrared remote sensing (WO2004107289 and WO2004111920).
In 2006, he founded NGARO Intelligent Solutions, a company specialized in computer vision and remote sensing, with which he received the Bancaja Award for Young Entrepreneurs, serving as CTO until 2010. In 2011, he created ARITHMETRICS Limited, focused on automation and remote sensing applied to water and air quality, where he worked as CEO until 2019.
In 2014, he published a national patent on optical multitouch surfaces (ES2452173_A2).
Since 2016, he has been pursuing doctoral studies in the Department of Earth Physics and Thermodynamics at the Universitat de València, within the remote sensing program. Since 2019, he has been working as a research staff member at the same university.
His main line of research focuses on the use of sky cameras for the study of the atmosphere and solar radiation.
