Enrique Cerezo Herrero holds a PhD in Translation from the Universitat de València with a thesis on the teaching of English as a B language in the training of future translators and interpreters. He also completed a Master's Degree in Creative and Humanistic Translation (English) and a BA in Translation and Interpreting (English) at the same university, as well as several postgraduate courses on translation methodology and foreign language teaching at different universities. He is currently a lecturer and researcher in the Department of English and German Philology at the Universitat de València, where he teaches several courses on translation and English language and linguistics in the BA in Translation and Interlinguistic Mediation and English Studies. He also combines his teaching duties with the position of Vice-Dean for Internationalization of the Faculty of Philology, Translation and Communication.
In the research arena, his interests focus on foreign language teaching for trainee translators and interpreters, translation pedagogy and Plurilingual education. His work has been published in a wide range of academic journals such as The Interpreter and Translator Trainer, Ikala, Porta Linguarum, RESLA, MonTI, Sendebar, Quaderns. Revista de Traducció, IJES, ELIA, ELOPE, etc., and in renowned publishers such as Peter Lang, John Benjamins or Tirant Lo Blanch. He has also participated in numerous national and international conferences on translation and foreign language teaching and has been Principal Investigator (PI) of three emerging research projects on multilingual education in the Valencian Community.
