Teaching
Cristina is a professor in the Department of Zoology at the UV. She has taught in the degrees of: Biology, Biotechnology, Environmental Sciences, Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences, and Chemistry; and the Master's Biodiversity: Conservation and Evolution.
Cristina has also been a professor at TUM (Germany) and ETH Zurich.
Research
Cristina investigates parasite communities. She is particularly interested in understanding the factors that drive parasite diversity in ecosystems and how host-parasite interactions promote ecological and evolutionary processes.
Cristina has extensive international experience.
