. During my Master's, I conducted my research on stem cell differentiation in the laboratory of Dr. Osyczka (Jagiellonian University, Poland) and completed an international stay at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT, Italy), where I studied susceptibility to epileptic seizures in animal models. After completing my Master's, I continued my career in Italy as a PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Cancedda, contributing to the development of a patent and the establishment of an innovative in utero electroporation protocol with three electrodes, integrating technical innovation and neuroscience. My doctoral thesis focused on the role of Pcdh19 in brain development in early infantile epileptic encephalopathy type 9 (EIEE9), addressing for the first time the consequences of its mosaic expression in neurons and identifying associated morphological deficits. I obtained my PhD with the highest distinction. Subsequently, I obtained a postdoctoral contract in the laboratory of Dr. Pierani (France), an international leader in the study of Cajal-Retzius cells. My research, funded by the Fondation pour la Recherche Médicale and the Fondation Fyssen, focused on Dbx1-derived CR cells and their role in regulating cell fate and protocadherins. During this period, I received an EMBO Short-Term Fellowship to carry out a stay at CNIO (Spain), where I gained experience in cell cycle regulation in neuronal progenitors and cancer cells. Thanks to the GenT program, I established my own independent research line as Principal Investigator at the University of Valencia, joining the group of Prof. Fariñas. My current research focuses on the role of protocadherins in brain development and associated pathologies. To date, I have published 16 scientific articles (3 as corresponding author; 15 in Q1 journals and 1 under review), in addition to 2 book chapters, 1 conference proceeding, and 1 online protocol. I have presented my work at over 25 international conferences. I hold the R3 certificate and participate as a reviewer for the Horizon EIC Accelerator program, as a Guest Associate Editor for Frontiers in Cellular Neuroscience and JoVE, and as a reviewer for various scientific journals. I am a member of the SENC and international associations. In teaching and supervision, I provide instruction in Cellular Biology in the Biotechnology degree at the University of Valencia, collaborate in the Neuroscience Master's program at UAM, and in the course Neurobiology of Mental Disorders. Currently, I supervise 3 Master's theses (TFMs) and one technician, having previously supervised 2 additional TFMs..
