Biography

My research focuses on digital electronics, advanced signal processing, and Machine Learning applied to nuclear and high-energy physics.

During my PhD at the University of Valencia (2017-2019, 2022-2024), I concentrated on optimizing the firmware for the NEDA detector [1]. This work involved implementing advanced trigger algorithms for neutron-gamma discrimination (Charge Comparison and Time-of-Flight), developing lossless online data compression systems on Virtex-6 FPGAs, and performing pile-up reconstruction using 1D convolutional autoencoders. These contributions were experimentally validated through beam tests and analyzed using high-precision Python workflows.

Since 2023, I have been conducting research at IFIC and the University of Valencia, applying artificial intelligence techniques to enhance Data Acquisition (DAQ) systems for NEDA, GRIT [2], and AGATA [3]. My background also includes a tenure at CMS-CERN (2019-2021), where I evaluated radiation effects on microchips (TID tests) via automated analysis pipelines. I have disseminated these advancements through peer-reviewed publications and international conferences, actively driving innovation in scientific instrumentation.
