Biography

María Elena Díaz received the M.Sc.D. and Ph.D. degrees in physics from the University of Valencia, Valencia, Spain, in 1992 and 1997, respectively.

She held a post-doctoral fellowship with the European Molecular Biology Laboratory, Heidelberg, Germany, in 2000.

She is currently a Lecturer with the Department of Computer Science, University of Valencia.

Her research interests include biomedical image processing, motion analysis and stochastic geometry.
