He completed his specialised training as a Hospital Medical Physics Specialist at the Insituto Valenciano de Oncología Foundation (IVO).

His professional career includes a period at the Instituto de Medicina Oncológica y Molecular de Asturias (IMOMA), where he focused on treatment planning and quality assurance in Radiotherapy, as well as providing Radiation Protection services in the areas of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.

He holds the qualification of Head of Radiation Protection awarded by the Consejo de Seguridad Nuclear (CSN) and is accredited as an Expert in Radiation Protection in Medical Facilities by CIEMAT. In his clinical work, he stands out for quality control of diagnostic imaging equipment, having inspected more than 200 systems of various modalities over the past year.

In the teaching field, he has been linked to the University of Valencia since 2022, initially as an external lecturer on the University Master’s Degree in Medical Physics. He has extensive experience in specialised training, having delivered Radiation Protection courses for medical residents and accreditation courses for operators of radioactive installations in the specialties of Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy, approved by the CSN. In addition, he serves as a member of the Comisión de Formación Continuada de las Profesiones Sanitarias of INGESA.

His research activity and scientific updating are reflected in his participation in numerous national and international conferences organised by SEFM and SEPR. His areas of interest and presentations include the implementation of advanced techniques such as DIBH (Deep Inspiration Breath Hold) in breast cancer, stereotactic radiotherapy (SBRT/SRS), and dosimetry in computed tomography. He remains in continuous training in cutting-edge technological areas, such as Big Data and Business Intelligence applied to healthcare. He is an active member of the Spanish Society of Medical Physics (SEFM), the Spanish Society of Radiation Protection (SEPR), and the European Federation of Organisations for Medical Physics (EFOMP).
