Juan I. Escámez Marsilla holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Universitat Politècnica de València (2013) and a PhD in Agri-Food Economics from the same university (2018). He is currently an Assistant Lecturer (Profesor Ayudante Doctor) in the Department of Accounting at the Faculty of Economics, Universitat de València.
His research interests include financial and management accounting, sustainability reporting, sustainability in higher education, and university internationalization. He is an expert in Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) and serves as an Erasmus+ programme evaluator. His academic work also explores ethics, sustainable development, and faculty training for sustainability in higher education.
