Joan J. Ferrando Bargues, graduated in Mathematics from the University of Valencia (1978) and doctorate in Physics from the University of Valencia (1987). He is currently Professor of Theoretical Physics attached to the Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics of the University of Valencia. He is a member of the Gravitation and Relativistic Positioning research group. His research areas focus on the study of the intrinsic properties of the gravitational field and the physical interpretation of the perfect fluid solutions of Einstein's equations.
