Maria graduated in Psychology from the University of Valencia (UV). She received a grant for Research Collaboration with the Department of Psychobiology, and at the same university, she obtained a Master's Degree in General Health Psychology. She complimented her studies with a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology at the Behaviour Therapy Centre of Valencia (CETECOVA, 2020) and Integrative Psychology Specialization (AIGLÉ).
Following the award of the University Teacher Training (FPU) grant from the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, she joined the Polibienestar Institute (UV) and the IPSITEC research group as a PhD Research Trainee. She obtained her PhD in 2024, completing her thesis under the supervision of Dr. Rosa Baños and Dr. Marta Miragall. Her main line of research addresses transdiagnostic factors in the memory domain, enhancing the integration of positive psychology tools and the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs). Following this line, she is currently a Prometheus Junior Researcher in the IPSITEC research group.
